Who we are
CrewCall (joincrewcall.com and the iOS/Android app) is a platform for film crew in Egypt. Controller: CrewCall. Contact: ussamahusseinn@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Account: email, username, hashed password (or Apple/Google sign-in tokens).
- Profile: name, bio, role, city, optional phone, photo, portfolio photos, credits.
- Projects and applications: listing text, roles needed, who applied.
- Direct messages between members.
- Technical data needed to run the account (session, app language).
Why we use it
To run your account, show your profile, post projects, apply, and message crew. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
App Store privacy answers
These match the App Privacy labels we submit in App Store Connect:
- Contact Info — Email, name, and optional phone for your account and profile. Not used for tracking.
- User Content — Photos, messages, projects, applications. App functionality.
- Identifiers — Account ID so you can sign in. Not used for advertising.
- Usage Data — No advertising analytics. Product functionality only.
- Tracking — No. The app does not track you across other companies’ apps for ads.
Apple and Google sign-in
If you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a token that proves who you are. Apple’s Hide My Email is supported. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
Where it is stored
The website is hosted on Vercel. Database and file storage run on Supabase. They are processors, not buyers of your data.
Reports
You can report or block from a profile, project, or chat. Full rules are in the Terms of Use. Support: support page.
Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings on the website or in the app. That removes your profile, photos, messages, projects, and applications. Apple requires in-app deletion — it is under Settings → Delete account.
Children
CrewCall is not directed at children under 13.
