إن مصر تبقى مركز إنتاج الأفلام في المنطقة — وCrewCall يكون البيت اللي بدأ منه كل ده.

For Egypt to become the filmmaking hub of the MENA region — and for CrewCall to be the platform where that movement started. Cairo first, then the region.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER · كلمة المؤسس

أنا شايف نفس المشكلة بتتكرر كل يوم في الوسط الفني في مصر.

مخرج عنده رؤية، مش لاقي المصور اللي يفهمها. مصور بيدور على مشروع يثبت فيه نفسه، مش لاقي المخرج اللي يثق فيه. مونتير شاطر، قاعد في البيت. والحل الوحيد الموجود؟ واتساب ومجموعات فيسبوك وسؤال في الهواء.

CrewCall اتعمل عشان المواهب دي تلاقي بعض. مش على السوشيال ميديا، ومش بالصدفة — في مكان واحد، مصمم خصيصاً لصنّاع الأفلام في مصر.

I kept seeing the same problem repeat itself in Egypt's film scene. A director with a vision who can't find a DP who gets it. A talented editor sitting at home waiting for someone to discover them. The only solution? WhatsApp groups and posting into the void.

CrewCall exists so these people can find each other — not by accident, not on social media, but in one place built specifically for the Egyptian film community.
